Ben Bradley on Boatbuilding

As a schoolboy, I first went sailing from Gurnard Luck for races at Gurnard Sailing Club in about 1950, and I also helped the local boatbuilder building boats in a shed at the end of his garden.

First job, apprentice Draughtsman, J S Whites, Ship Drawing Office. Studies in Naval Architecture at Isle of Wight Technical College.
