But talking about cricket, Uffa used to play cricket out on the Brambles Sandbanks and when the Hovercraft came in Uffa used to persuade the Hovercraft people to take the teams out in the Hovercraft and play on the Brambles Bank.

When Uffa died we still kept it up and I managed to persuade Colin Cowdrey, the ex-England cricket test Captain to come down and play on the Brambles Bank.

So, that was great fun
